About The Game

Nightmare Shift immerses the player in the night shifts of a remote motel. Visitors come with unusual requests, their actions range from the strange to the frightening. As the shift progresses, inexplicable events occur: flashing lights and strange sounds create a tense atmosphere. The gamer must complete tasks — register guests, deal with their complaints, maintain order where any mistake leads to unexpected consequences. Each night tests attentiveness in the face of a growing sense of threat.

In Nightmare Shift, the action takes place not only in the motel, but also in Emma’s apartment, increasing the feeling of invasion of personal space. Gameplay involves exploring her home, where objects move without reason, and hints create the impression of surveillance. This horror blurs the line between reality and nightmare, forcing you to doubt what is happening. Emma’s everyday actions, such as sorting through things or answering calls, are imbued with anxiety, increasing with each decision.

Scenes in a motel and an apartment intertwine to form a coherent picture of anxiety. The choices made in the title influence the development of events, giving each step significance. The project creates a world where the gamer constantly faces the unknown, balancing between familiar tasks and frightening circumstances.
