About The Game

Under A New Sun is a survival adventure game where you awaken from cryosleep to find yourself stranded on an alien planet after your colony ship crashes. With no crew and the wreckage of your ship surrounding you, you must adapt to this unfamiliar world, which contains both Earth-like flora and completely alien species. The planet has breathable air and a variety of environments, including various islands, underwater locations, and mysterious ruins, which you must explore to find out what happened to your mission.

Survival mechanics involve coping with hunger, thirst, weather conditions, and hostile creatures, as well as malfunctioning machinery scattered across the landscape. The game places an emphasis on hands-on crafting through interactive workstations where you physically manipulate materials operating looms to make cloth, splitting wood into planks, processing hides into leather, and smelting ore into tools rather than navigating through traditional menus. You'll gather resources, build shelters, and climb the food chain, using technology scavenged from scrapyards and natural energy sources to power advanced equipment.

Exploration involves sailing between islands using wind-powered vessels, discovering underwater areas, and exploring wrecks to unravel the mystery of your arrival. The game supports four-player co-op multiplayer, allowing you and your friends to tackle the challenges of this harsh new world as they try to establish humanity's new home under an alien sun.
