About The Game

Frosthaven is a digital adaptation of the board game that puts players in charge of a mercenary company in a northern settlement. This tactical strategy RPG uses turn-based combat on a hex map. Campaign missions can be completed solo or in online co-op with up to three other players. The action takes place on the frontier, known for its harsh conditions and dangerous inhabitants, constantly challenging the survival of the group.

The core of the gameplay is the management of a party of adventurers, with each hero fulfilling a combat function. At the start, there are 6 classes to choose from, including Banner Spear, Boneshaper, and Drifter, with more unlocked as you progress. In the Frosthaven title, combat operations depend on a system of ability cards, dictating the actions of the characters on each turn. Success in fights with numerous enemies and bosses requires a balance between risk and potential reward through careful resource management.

In addition to individual combat encounters, the responsibility for the development of the central outpost falls on the shoulders. The process includes the construction and modernization of various buildings, opening up new gaming opportunities and ways to support the party. The events of the project unfold in a world with various biomes subject to changing seasons. A narrative of more than 130 quests directs the journey through these lands, and the decisions made directly affect the progress and development of the settlement.
