About The Game

Atomic Owl puts the player in the role of Hidalgo Bladewing, a bird who went to save his comrades. The main conflict is tied to the confrontation with the raven sorcerer Omega Wing, who has subjugated his entire troupe by force. The plot begins 2 years after this incident, which happened during the squad's return to the ramen shop. Hidalgo begins a campaign to correct what was done, and a daring talking blade helps him in this. The hero's task is to find and free his fallen friends from the power of the sorcerer.

The gameplay in Atomic Owl involves overcoming linear zones with platforming and battles that require good reactions. The hero cuts through hordes of Tengu enemies, using skillful use of weapons. The roguelike structure of this project forces you to replay levels after defeat, allowing you to become stronger for the next run. An arsenal of transforming weapons is available, including the Yutamet scythe for long-range attacks, as well as a hammer, blade, and whip.

The character absorbs Mez souls from enemies to unlock upgrades and gain elemental powers of fire, wind, and poison. In addition to standard combat techniques, Hidalgo has special abilities. The hero is able to turn into a Void Raven to crush Tengu squads, and in certain areas he soars into the air to glide over locations. An animated video at the beginning introduces the conflict, and the game itself reveals its further development through voiced characters and dynamic dialogue. Enemies are varied: from the antagonist's minions to a possessed egg yolk teeming with ancient evil.
