About The Game

SpaceVenture follows the adventures of Ace Hardaway, a life support technician, and his robot dog Rooter. The plot begins with a routine repair that turns into an interstellar conflict. Ace confronts sewer monsters, evades law enforcement, and investigates a conspiracy involving mind control devices disguised as regular gaming consoles. The player guides the hero through these events, creating vehicles and interacting with technology.

As the protagonists progress through SpaceVenture, they assemble a starship by finding parts and using resources such as recycled biowaste for refueling. The assembled vessel allows them to travel between sectors of the galaxy, following a planned course among the stars. The exploration process includes asteroid fields with debris, functioning space stations, desert planets, and the Hyperspace Highway network. Locations contain puzzles and opportunities for interaction with characters integrated into the gameplay.

Their travels lead them to encounters with a variety of characters: corrupt cops, eccentric inventors, and shady corporate CEOs. Ace and Rooter interact with them, learning their motives and avoiding threats from some of the people they meet. Ace's tools and PDA functions are used to overcome obstacles, bypass enemies, and advance the investigation of a galactic conspiracy. This project requires solving problems by interacting with the environment and using found items.
