About The Game

Bad Cheese features a gameplay experience in which a small mouse performs a series of household chores while spending the weekend with his dysfunctional father in the absence of his mother. The key objective is to maintain his parent's good graces and avoid punishment in a house shared with his brother and other demonic creatures. The mouse must clean floors, cook French fries, kill spiders, and bring his father medicine. All of these chores reflect a child's attempts to behave correctly in a volatile home environment, where the main goal is to make daddy happy.

Exploration of the family home is one of the key elements of Bad Cheese, presenting the world from a child's perspective. Moving through different rooms, the mouse searches for scattered treats and figurines that act as the only source of joy. Such searches provide a temporary respite from the all-consuming need to monitor his father's mood. Thus, moving around the house reveals complex situations and the terrifying truth about the existence of a small rodent in an abnormal family.

The psychological horror story unfolds through routine actions, framed by a visual style inspired by 1920s animation. The player observes the events from the first-person perspective of a child, directly confronting the surreal reality of everyday life. Challenging situations and puzzles related to the environment disrupt the usual way of life. The entire game focuses on the efforts of a little mouse to create a semblance of normality and survive in the conditions of destructive family relationships.
