About The Game

In NBA 2K26, real NBA match footage is streamed directly into gameplay via the ProPLAY system, which directly affects the display of player actions and their signature moves on the virtual court. This key technology provides control over complex maneuvers such as fake dribbles and sharp crossovers, recreating the fast and dynamic movements of professional basketball. This project contains several separate modes: an individual journey MyCAREER, card collecting in MyTEAM and a franchise management simulator MyNBA. Also available are The W, dedicated to the women's WNBA league, and the quick play option Play Now, while some content requires an Internet connection, while other components function autonomously.

The MyCAREER mode in NBA 2K26 focuses on the development of a personal MyPLAYER from a promising rookie to an NBA star, while simultaneously moving up the competitive ladder in confrontations with other gamers. This storyline takes place in the central online hub The City, where users form teams with friends to earn recognition and increase REP as they battle rival squads for dominance on the court. Meanwhile, MyTEAM involves collecting and upgrading cards of current and legendary NBA and WNBA superstars to form a unique roster to compete in a variety of single-player and multiplayer competitions.

MyNBA offers a deep management experience, putting you in the shoes of a general manager at one of 30 authentic NBA franchises. Each organization offers a unique storyline inspired by real-life basketball events and management challenges. The ultimate goal is to build a championship dynasty by making strategic trades, managing personnel, and making decisions that can impact the long-term future of the entire league. Access to most online features and game modes requires account registration.
