The Exit 8 VR is a short but very atmospheric walking simulator that lures players into endless underground passages inspired by Japanese subway systems and liminal spaces. Your goal is simple and at the same time terrifying: carefully observe your surroundings as you move through identical corridors, looking for anomalies that will indicate whether you should turn back or continue towards the mysterious Exit 8.

The VR adaptation of the popular indie horror game increases the psychological tension through virtual reality, making every detail feel uncomfortable as you carefully study the walls, lights and signs for subtle changes. Gameplay revolves around pattern recognition and attention to detail if you notice something unusual, you need to turn back immediately, but if everything looks normal, continue further down the sterile passage.

This indie adventure simulator creates a growing sense of dread with its minimalist approach, making the most of the familiar yet unsettling aesthetic of underground transit rooms.
