About The Game

Grey Heritage Noble Duty is an anime style tactical RPG that serves as a prequel to Grey Heritage: Faded Vision, offering an accessible start for newcomers and a deep level for genre veterans. Set in a medieval fantasy world in 755, the game follows Jaden Rickard, Lord of Astraea, branded a traitor for abandoning his post during Emperor Augustus' invasion of Kalista. Players must guide Jaden across the war-torn continent to recruit allies from neighboring countries and restore his honor while fulfilling his noble obligations.

The core gameplay revolves around tactical combat, where you command armies in complex scenarios that require strategic thinking and careful unit placement. Between battles, you'll manage army preparation, inventory management, and develop relationships with your comrades at your home base. The game features ten playable characters across a 10-15-hour campaign, as well as quality-of-life features such as autosave and a rewind system that allows you to undo up to ten moves.

Combat includes critical hits that can inflict status effects on enemies, adding tactical depth to encounters. The lack of permadeath allows players to experiment with strategies without permanent consequences, making the game particularly enjoyable for newcomers while offering challenging challenges for seasoned tactical RPG fans.
