About The Game

The story of TAIMA MIKO takes place on a modern-day Japanese island, where folklore monsters appear after an earthquake. Players take control of a maiden exorcist awakened from a long slumber. The protagonist, Miko, suffers from amnesia, and battles with the creatures help her regain her memory. Her task is to investigate the monsters' appearance and discover the reasons for her imprisonment in the past. The narrative is built around new encounters and farewells as you explore the open world, and the player's decisions influence the story's ending.

Battles in TAIMA MIKO are turn-based, with a side-scrolling perspective and animated character models. Miko wields unconventional weapons against enemies, including a chainsaw and flamethrower. Victories in battles earn skill points, which can be used to unlock new abilities that allow you to customize your fighting style. The crafting system allows you to create and upgrade equipment, and accessories can be combined to gain additional bonuses. These mechanics serve as the foundation for the heroine's development, gradually becoming stronger.

Besides battles, the island offers a variety of other activities. Players can fish, garden, and tame wild boars and chickens to harvest resources. The game also includes an industrial element, allowing players to build a personal factory to process materials. Locations are open for exploration, and a network of portable toilets serves as a fast travel system for easy navigation.
