Onimusha 2 Samurais Destiny seamlessly blends action, adventure, and role-playing adventure elements, set against a historical backdrop. This sequel to the series follows the story of Jubei Yagyu, a young warrior who embarks on a campaign against the evil warlord Nobunaga Oda and his demonic army. Its distinctive feature is its innovative trading system.

Players can interact with four different characters, each with unique personalities, preferences, and skills. Choices matter, as players influence their relationships by giving gifts or items. The consequences of these interactions reverberate throughout the game, shaping story scenes, side quests, and ultimately multiple endings.

Onimusha 2 Samurai's Destiny combat system is no less sophisticated, offering a wide arsenal of weapons and items. Jubei can wield five elemental swords, each with special attacks and magic. Firearms, bombs, arrows, and other tools add to the variety of combat options.
