About The Game

Thief VR Legacy of Shadow - the action takes place in a dark and atmospheric City, whose appearance is imbued with a steampunk spirit. The story centers on Magpie, a young and cunning thief who is forced to steal to survive in the harsh conditions. The City is under the oppression of the tyrant Ulysses Northcrest, and every day is a struggle for survival for the protagonist. Along the way, she meets Garrett, a legendary master thief from previous installments of the series, who becomes her mentor and helps her master the intricacies of this dangerous craft. The plot gains momentum when Magpie discovers a mysterious artifact that holds echoes of the past and hints at events far greater than initially apparent.

The games key feature is the unprecedented level of immersion provided by virtual reality technology. The player will not simply observe the events unfolding, but literally feel part of the world: interacting with objects tactilely, carefully picking locks, opening hidden compartments, and deftly snatching valuables from the pockets of passersby. Movement through the levels is nonlinear and rich in acrobatic elements you can climb rooftops, make your way through dark alleys, and seek out shortcuts and hidden passages. Each mission offers room for maneuver: the player decides how to proceed whether to slip silently past enemies using shadows and cover, or neutralize them without being noticed. This approach allows you to develop your own playstyle, tailoring your tactics to your personal preferences.

As the story unfolds, the story expands beyond the heroine's personal struggle for survival. Magpie uncovers a massive conspiracy that threatens the very existence of the City. To confront the sinister forces ruling the metropolis, she will have to rely not only on her acquired skills but also utilize the diverse arsenal of a professional thief. At her disposal are specialized arrows capable of distracting attention or extinguishing light sources, a baton for silently stunning patrolmen, and glyphic vision, which helps her spot hidden passages and discover valuable items invisible to the naked eye.
