About The Game

Blightstone is a tactical roguelike set in a dark fantasy setting, reimagining turn-based strategy through free character movement. The absence of a traditional grid-based battlefield allows for complete freedom of positioning, turning every encounter into a tense tactical puzzle. Success in battle depends directly on skillful use of the environment. Tall grass provides temporary cover until it catches fire, and water obstacles become conduits for amplifying electrical attacks. Weather conditions also add unpredictability to battles: thick fog can obscure enemies, and strong winds significantly reduce the accuracy of ranged attacks.

The events unfold in a fading world, slowly being consumed by a destructive corruption. The main objective of the heroic party is to deliver a powerful artifact known as Earthglass to the Infernal Rift. This is the only way to defeat the demonic overlord Korgul and destroy the root cause of evil. To complete this mission in Blightstone, you'll need to assemble a team of five classes, including the Champion, Hunter, Sorcerer, Druid, and Priest, each with a unique set of abilities for controlling the battlefield, dealing damage, or supporting allies.

Defeat on this perilous journey isn't the final end. Progression is cyclical, with each unsuccessful attempt leaving its mark, allowing you to strengthen the crystal with the shards collected along the way. This approach unlocks new active and passive abilities for subsequent attempts. Thus, the protagonists' deaths become an integral part of the process, gradually preparing them for the final battle against the forces of darkness and offering hope for saving the world from total annihilation.
