About The Game

DeckLand is a rogue-lite deck-building game set in an ancient Korean dynasty struck by a sudden supernatural disaster. You play as a guru navigating a kingdom transformed into a monster-infested wasteland, using martial arts inspired by traditional folklore to survive. The core gameplay combines card combat with movement mechanics borrowed from the traditional board game Yutnori. Players navigate a map, navigating constellations, encountering random events, resting places, and dangerous battles. To overcome escalating threats, you must combine cards to create more powerful abilities and equip talismans that grant permanent growth bonuses.

Strategy plays a key role as you manage your deck, uncovering "mysterious events" that reveal the kingdoms tragic past and the source of the cataclysm. The visual style features elegant, fantastical graphics rooted in traditional Korean aesthetics and lyrical storytelling.
