About The Game
Desolate is a first-person action horror game with survival elements. This project was developed by a small domestic team Nearga. Apparently, the developers were inspired by the Stalker series and other open-world products. According to the plot, the scene is the secret island of Granichny. Events unfold in the distant 1980s. The player is a volunteer who has arrived on the island to collect information for the subsequent correction of the consequences of a terrible disaster. Desolate differs from most games in the genre of survival / action not only by the presence of an interesting storyline, but also by the possibility of its passage in a local cooperative.The latter is designed for a team of up to four users. In other words, you can play Desolate both alone, so together, three, or four. As for the gameplay, the media product from our indie developers will be a revelation for you only if you have never played action-survival games before. For the rest, who are known in this category of video games, the presented game will be typical. Desolate game begins with the protagonist’s appearance menu. The player is offered a choice of several predefined options for faces, hair and accessories. You can also determine the age of the protagonist. A set of cosmetics is scarce, but enough to make your hero different from the heroes of your friends. Finding yourself in the world of the game, danger will overtake you from everywhere. There is always a risk of dying, even when there is not a single living soul or anomaly nearby. A protagonist can die from hunger, from intense thirst, from fright or from hypothermia, therefore, first of all, you need to take care of finding food and places of heating.
NOTES. With the release of the v1.3.8 update many files changed so we decided to make a new standalone.
