Blightbound — is an action RPG dungeon crawler designed for multiplayer gameplay. The game was developed by the independent studio Ronimo Games, renowned for its highly acclaimed game Awesomenauts, and released by Devolver Digital. Blightbound takes us to a fantasy world. When the heroes managed to defeat the Shadow Titan decades ago, it seemed that the inhabitants of this land could breathe a sigh of relief. A mysterious plague emerged from the dead body’s antagonist, a mist that turns anyone in its range into a terrifying monster. The heroes we play throughout the game have no choice but to face a new threat. Watch the action from the side, like in classic fighting games.

The developers give us over twenty playable characters, each with their own story and a set of individual skills. Heroes represent one of three professions warrior, magician or assassin. The gameplay consists mainly of wandering through hand-drawn dungeons spread out under three lands Gravemark, Underhold, Blood Ridge and dynamic battles against hordes of enemies. During the battle, we must show agility and reflexes and use the skills of the main characters correctly. In addition, cooperation with other participants in the struggle plays an important role as long as the warrior feels good on the front line, the assassin is ideal for dealing damage from cover, and the mage, as the main healer, must stay as far away from the turmoil of war as possible.

The driving force behind the game is challenges that not only propel the story forward, but also allow you to load powerful special abilities that give you an edge on the battlefield. As we progress, we acquire new equipment and raw materials for the production of higher quality equipment and discover new playable characters. In between wandering through dungeons and facing dangers, it is worth taking some time to expand our hideout, located high in the mountains, where we can attract craftsmen who supply us with useful items.

Blightbound for PC — only allows you to play in co-op mode for up to three players. The multiplayer mode allows you to have fun both online and on the local network, as well as on the shared screen. The graphic design of Blightbound is made in a cartoon style. The game in an interesting way combines hand-drawn models with elements of 3D graphics and dynamic lighting, which gives a pleasant effect.
