About The Game

Overboard — is a visual novel style puzzle adventure. Blackmailing a spy. Love. Killing an opponent. Deceptions. Witness drugs. Lies, friendship, betrayal, consolation, stealth, seduction, theft, prayers, eavesdropping, murder. There are clues, suspects, charges, secrets and lies. You will need all your cunning, compulsion and charisma. One playthrough lasts about 30-45 minutes, but it will take much longer to achieve the perfect result. In Overboard, you have to use your cunning and charisma to obfuscate the investigation and divert suspicion of murder from yourself. You can do this by collecting information about suspects and their secrets in order to use them to your advantage. For example, you can blackmail another person, add drugs to a bystander, or even kill an unwanted person.

The idea of the game is to find ways to avoid suspicion, and there are many different possible outcomes for this scenario. The authors describe Overboard as a next-generation visual novel in which you can go where you want, whenever you want, and say what you want to develop the plot. The environment itself is also free and other characters move and interact, remember everything they see and hear, as well as everything you do. Basically, this is a huge evolution of the format of one of the studio’s previous games, 80 Days.
