About The Game
Witchaven 2 Blood of Vengeance — is the sequel to the successful action game set in a fantastic climate, released less than 10 months after the premiere of One. The game was created by the same team and, like its predecessor, runs on the Build engine developed by Ken Silverman 3D Realms. This engine proved to be a breakthrough in FPP game development, driving hits like Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage or Blood. The events of Witchaven II take place immediately after the events known from the first part of the game. During the holiday in honor of the defeat of the forces of the evil and demonic queen Illvirin, our hero Grondoval falls asleep.Waking up, she learns that the mighty witch Sira-Argot came to avenge the death of her sister by kidnapping her beloved Grondoval, Princess Elizabeth, and many compatriots of our protoplasty. Without delay, the hero of the Trainee is sent to confront the surviving army of demons Sira-Agoth and defeats the sorceress herself in the final game. As in the original, we are dealing with a first-person action game with RPG elements. We use common weapons such as swords, axes, arches, knives and halberds, as well as many extremely effective spells, to fight our way to our goal among a host of increasingly powerful enemies. Experience points gained in battle are invested in the development of our hero, increasing his strength, speed or endurance and gaining access to new, more powerful spells.
