About The Game

SOMA — is a survival horror game that challenges players to travel to an alternate future and visit an underwater station. Adventures, gloomy events, a sea of horrors and more await you there. The plot revolves around a guy named Simon Jarett who got into a car accident. His girlfriend Ashley died in the accident. Simon himself survived, but his brain was severely injured, due to which a hemorrhage begins in his head. It would seem that he seemed to be saved, but after the treatment, side effects began to appear, with which nothing helped to cope. As a result, Simon decides on an experimental procedure during which his brain was to be scanned using a new high-tech system.

The gameplay SOMA is generally quite simple and uses traditional mechanics for the genre. The main character of SOMA does not know how he ended up at the station and why he slept for so long, and he needs to find out what is happening at all costs. But alas, there is no one around, which means that you will have to look for answers to all questions on your own. However, this is still half the trouble. The main problem is that the main character does not know that he really is, this is not him at all, but a mixture of a physical shell and a robotic body, like most of those he will find aboard this station. In general, the gameplay is quite simple and comes down to survival. You will need to solve numerous puzzles, communicate with different characters, get data about what is happening and survive in every possible way. But do not think that it will be easy, because on board the station, in addition to people, robots and the main character, there are also terrible creatures. destroying everything that comes their way.
