Another FPS — arena that you might not know about is Rexuiz a former mod for Xonotic, they say. To be honest, we have no idea about the authors of this game, but it clearly shows that they are Quake lovers. And it seems that at least part of the team are Russians. The fact that the authors of Rexuiz were inspired by the Quake franchise can be seen with the naked eye. If only because the game has the entire first episode of the first part of Quake. And also remakes of such cards as The Dark Zone dm6 from Quake, Aerowalk, as well as Almost Lost, Silence, Sinister and many others from Quake III Arena and Quake Live.

Distinctive features of the game include a small wall-climbing, provided there is an inclined surface as in the first Quake, complete air-control and the wildest rocket-jump, throwing the player into the skies. And also the ability to collect health and armor without restriction, which significantly changes the gameplay. Of course, the stack level drops the larger it is, the faster but you don’t need to launch any missiles at your feet to take the armor that you don’t want to leave to the enemy. This only works during deathmatch if you want to go through the campaign, this will no longer be the case.
