The technological future in Justice.exe reaches its limit with the advent of the year 2279. Mankind is actively using robotics and artificial intelligence to solve many everyday problems. Specialized services can now use ordinary objects or appliances in the house to eavesdrop, such as a washing machine or a kitchen cabinet. Each machine acts as an agent, forcing people to grapple with the moral issue of personal space lost in the new reality of an evolving dystopia. Users will have the opportunity to fight for human rights in a society marked by usurpation and oppression.

The atmosphere in Justiceexe is based on classic cyberpunk, where a huge financial gulf has opened up between the layers of the population. Corporations rule the world while many survive in the slums of polluted and dying metropolitan areas. The player’s task will be to search for information about the inhabitants and solve social or moral issues regarding the ethical and philosophical contradictions between human life and a machine with consciousness.

The protagonist must collect information and communicate with witnesses of various situations in order to prepare documents for the court. With the help of the evidence obtained and the right arguments, it will be possible to defend the rights of people who have suffered under the omnipresent eye of the state and become victims of a cruel bureaucracy.
