About The Game
Archmage Rises is an arcade wizard simulation where each playthrough takes 3-4 hours and where each game is generated from scratch on the fly. Players must go from rookie to archmage, making choices along the way to save the world or cause its destruction. Life is sadly finite. The man suddenly dies. Brenen goblin, elf and dwarf. Other fantasy riff-raff. Shebutnye years rush past, dousing with abundant, sometimes bloody, splashes. One, two, all out. Archmage Rises, Defiance Game Studio’s crunchy torment RPG, is dominated by stubborn permadeath with no second chances in the lovable angel Loadgame. But no one will stop you from starting over.
