Homesick is a wonderful, well-balanced, thoughtful quest with deep meaning. Players have to explore locations, find things, solve puzzles. The plot is harmoniously divided into two conditional parts. The first half is about exploring the premises, encountering difficulties and completing tasks. The protagonist is afraid of daylight, goes blind and cannot move on. After completing certain actions, you can lie down to rest. As night falls, the situation only gets worse. When darkness envelops and absorbs everything around, the path to salvation will literally have to be cut through with an ax so as not to end up in darkness.

The peculiarity of Homesick lies in the contrasting atmosphere. Design, colors and tones, musical accompaniment set the mood for everything, the basis is an explanation of what is happening. Initially, there is no clarity about the events. With each step, gradually advancing, new details are revealed. In the end, everything will fall into place, the essence of the whole picture will be pieced together. It may be possible to read all ciphertexts. The author’s message is so strong that thoughts from perception will stretch even after passing the game.
