Florence for PC is a romantic novel by Ken Wong, designer of Monument Valley. Polygon called Florence «a jewel among mobile games» and «an unforgettable story about a bumpy road of relationships». The Guardian author saw in the game a reflection of the feelings and emotions of first love, and The Verge — a familiar story told in a new way, where love is born just a couple of touches of the screen. Journalists compared Florence to the film La La Land: the same realistic and at the same time fabulous story of two lovers who meet, share their dreams and help fulfill them.

Florence is the main character of the game, she is 25 years old, every morning she brushes her teeth, goes to work, checks social networks somewhere along the way, puts likes to some old acquaintances. At work, she is waiting for a computer and accounting accounts, and at lunch her mother regularly calls and asks why her daughter is still not married.

This is the first hook that Florence hooks the player. No heroic image, just an ordinary girl named Florence. Only a minute of the game has passed, but we already understand her thoughts and concerns without a single word. It looks like it was in Night in the Woods — the developers deftly notice the details of everyday life and through them establish a connection with the player.

Once on the street Florence hears a cello, music leads her to the street musician Krish. It was very likely that Mia and Sebastian met once at La La Land. Over time, Florence and Krish fall in love and begin to live together.
