About The Game

Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition is one of the best real-time strategies, but now re-released in a new format, with improved graphics, redesigned gameplay, and more. And the first thing to say is that this publication was developed specifically for the twentieth anniversary of the series, and gained a bunch of innovations in comparison with the original game. Play as one of the many factions and lead it through centuries of prosperity and development, create a real empire and do everything possible to become a truly good ruler.

As for the innovations, there are more than enough of them here. Firstly, the game finally now supports the resolution of «Ultra HD 4K», which is pretty cool even for the most modern games. Secondly, the game as a whole has changed in terms of graphics and began to look much better. You are waiting for more elaborate textures, advanced unit animation, detailed environments and much more. Well, plus everything a few new game modes.

Story campaigns have also been slightly changed. You will find more than 200 hours of playing time during the passage of story campaigns. And this edition also includes the Last Khans expansion, which includes a new campaign and three new civilizations. Otherwise, Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition, it’s still the same real-time strategy. Here you will build your empire, develop it in all directions, get resources, create units, fight for supremacy over territories with other civilizations, make worlds and create alliances, and do much, much more. At the same time, developers have simplified many processes, added several new gameplay features and transformed the battles themselves. Lead one of the available civilizations, bring it to world domination, fight your friends in battle mode and become a real ruler.
