Senren Banka — the village of Hoori is located deep in the mountains. It is almost impossible to get here, except by taxi. However, local taxi drivers prefer not to bring people here at all because, according to local beliefs, the village is damned. According to local legend, in the past the place on which the village stands was a place of battle with a powerful ecay. Ekaya managed to defeat Murasamemaru with the sword, but before he died, he cursed the village. Nowadays, no one believes in this legend, and the local population using the legend and the color of the village, upon visiting which, it seems that he fell in the Edo period, turned it into an attraction for tourists.

Moreover, Murasamemaru survived to this day, remaining in stone. It is used as another means of attracting tourists — a test of strength. Until now, no one has drawn the sword.
