About The Game

BrokenLore DONT WATCH introduces Shinji, a young man cut off from society and completely locked in his small Tokyo apartment as a hikikomori. The external pressures are mounting significantly: rent is overdue, bills are piling up unpaid, and his family, instead of supporting him, shows a lack of understanding, exacerbating his feelings of isolation from the outside world and himself. Video games serve as his main way to pass the time, but even this activity does not reduce the severity of his constant anxiety. The player observes the development of the boy’s internal conflict in this cramped environment.

In BrokenLore DONT WATCH, the main activity is to explore the disintegrating consciousness of the protagonist. During this exploration, caution is required, as a malevolent entity named Hyakume constantly watches the events. This entity has a hundred eyes and waits for the right moment to reveal itself or influence events. The game delivers this psychological immersion from a first-person perspective, placing the gamer directly into Shinji’s perception of reality, which can be distorted.
