Conquest Dark is an action RPG from Eldritch Sword Games set 237 years after the arrival of the Black Planet, when humanity is threatened with extinction by undead armies and awakened Primordials. Players perform dark rituals, choosing from various character classes such as Lion Barbarians, Oathkeepers, or Kuu Acolytes, each with unique abilities. The game offers a concentrated ARPG progression through Rituals, where you start weak but quickly build a powerful physique, unlocking Eldritch abilities, legendary armor, and unique weapons. Combat takes place in a variety of environments filled with mini-bosses, undead armies, and cosmic horrors, all set in a brutal sword-and-sorcery aesthetic inspired by dark fantasy classics. Players can theorize a lot as they create characters capable of slaying gods and uncovering the secrets of the Black Planet.

0.16.2 Early Access Hotfix
Gameplay:
Increased physics accuracy to prevent collision stuttering.
Adjusted collisions in the Arena of Ikar to prevent bosses from getting stuck outside the arena.
User Interface:
Fixed Attack Force display bug on character sheet.
Added more detailed error messages. If an error appears (red message on top left corner) take a screenshot of it, post it on Discord or Steam forums and restart your game.
Fixed an issue where some players had huge UI size when starting the game first time.
Fixed an issue in Pale Desolation where the Corruption level would be displayed even when no obelisks were in use.
Fixed Conjured Blade description.
Improved Obelisk tutorials to clarify that the difficulty increase does not stack with the ritual's Base Difficulty Modifier, so players can use obelisks without worrying about further increasing ritual difficulty.
Visuals:
Improved visibility of some enemy area of effect attacks.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the player from picking up Artifacts during the Akka boss fight preparation phase.
Balance:
The goal of the following nerfs and buffs it not to 'dumb down' the game, but to smoothen out the difficulty curve slightly. Most of the buffs are for single target Primary Attack Abilities that were undertuned and struggled to kill minions quickly at the start of the ritual.

Reduced Leap damage variation from 50% to 25% to make its damage more consistent.
Jinn'Ora, The Desert Wind
Reduced damage done by tornadoes by 50%.
The Last Stand of Zaladon
'Increased Enemy Damage Ritual Modifier' reduced from 20% to 15%.
'Increased Enemy Health per Tier Ritual Modifier' reduced from 100% to 75%.
The Obsidian Bulwark
'Increased Enemy Damage Ritual Modifier' reduced from 30% to 20%.
'Increased Enemy Health per Tier Ritual Modifier' reduced from 150% to 125%.

Gameplay
Abilities are now acquired one character level earlier.
Extended Normal Rituals now last until Tier 10 (up from Tier 5), allowing players to more efficiently farm resources and scrolls from these locations especially when combined with beneficial Ritual Modifiers.
Extended Dark Rituals now have one additional boss in their spawning pool.
Skipping Exceptional items now grants 2 reroll tokens and skipping Ancient items grants 3.
Runes will now drop even if the player has filled all available Rune Slots. Picking up a Rune this way will automatically grant one Reroll Token. No need to save that last Rune Slot for rerolls anymore.
Runes that change Ability Damage Type can now be used multiple times.
Staggered Damage from a single source can no longer exceed a character’s maximum health. This does not affect the total amount of Staggered Damage that a character can accumulate.
Losing a life or leveling up now removes all accumulated Staggered Damage.
[EXPERIMENTAL] Added an option to change game speed to 1x, 1.5x, or 2x. Separate keybinds can be used during gameplay to change the speed without having to enter the menu. On lower end machines increased game speed might cause performance issues and physics bugs.
[EXPERIMENTAL] Added an 'Enrage Timer' to boss fights activating after a certain amount of time has passed. Once active the player begins to slowly lose health with the rate increasing over time. The timer is set to 3 minutes for most bosses, 5 minutes for some end bosses and each phase of the Akka fight, and 8 minutes for Azgoroth the Doombringer.
