About The Game

Planetary Life is an indie sandbox simulation game where you manage the development of an entire planet from a barren rock to a thriving world. Developed by Sotenbox, the strategy game lets you manipulate geological and atmospheric systems, adjusting everything from plate tectonics and volcanic activity to climate patterns and atmospheric composition to create a habitable environment.

The game's evolutionary system lets you create life forms from the cellular level, combining different cell types to create organisms that range from simple single-celled creatures to complex multicellular organisms, including plants and animals. You can guide these species through evolutionary processes or let them adapt naturally using survival-of-the-fittest mechanics.

Managing a planet involves balancing multiple interconnected systems - you'll control core thermal radiation, volcanic eruptions, rainfall patterns, and surface albedo to maintain a stable climate and create resilient ecosystems. The main goal is to maintain harmony between fauna and flora to prevent species extinction and ecological collapse.
