About The Game

Subnautica 2 is a thrilling open-world adventure where players take on the role of an explorer of distant, fantastical planets. The action takes place on a stunning yet extremely dangerous planet, much of whose surface is covered by water. The protagonist finds themselves at the center of incredible events, where they must not only survive but also adapt to the new environment. The planet conceals many mysteries, from astonishing life forms to ancient artifacts. Of particular danger are the mysterious creatures that dwell in the depths of the local oceans. The game is being developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. The project was officially announced in October 2025.

The core gameplay combines elements of survival and exploration. Players start with a basic set of tools: a scanner and a flashlight. Gradually, by exploring the world and gathering resources, they will be able to craft advanced equipment. The crafting system allows you to build not only bases to protect against the harsh environment but also special underwater vehicles that speed up exploration. While it is possible to explore the surface, most of the interesting locations and events unfold underwater.
