About The Game
Master of Piece is a roguelike strategy game where defeat becomes the foundation for future success. Each unsuccessful expedition ends with a return to the outpost, but accumulated resources are not wasted. Investing them in constructing buildings within the garrison unlocks permanent upgrades for all subsequent attempts. Constructing special structures allows you to recruit more powerful fighters and gain access to improved equipment, significantly changing the starting conditions for new forays into uncharted lands.
The core of the combat system is a tactical grid on which mercenary squads are deployed. Once the battle begins, units act independently, and their turn sequence is determined solely by their speed. The key objective in Master of Piece is not the complete destruction of the enemy, but rather a breakthrough to the enemy flag at the opposite end of the arena. Fighters are deployed on the field within a limited pool of action points, requiring the commander to make careful decisions during the battle preparation phase.
The journey unfolds in a dark, gothic world shrouded in mysterious fog. Deep strategic planning is provided by combining over 140 unique mercenaries, their traits, and over 80 relics, creating countless synergies. In addition to battles, hundreds of text events await travelers on the procedurally generated map. In these situations, decisions made directly impact the future of the squad, bringing both valuable rewards and unexpected challenges.
