About The Game
AETHUS is an isometric, story-driven survival game set in the depths of a futuristic underground world. Here, survival revolves around resource extraction, the gradual exploration of dangerous biomes, and the establishment of an autonomous outpost. Each expedition requires careful planning, and every mistake underground can cost progress. Dungeon exploration revolves around the use of lasers, explosives, and advanced equipment. Resources lie in dangerous zones, forcing players to take risks in search of valuable finds. As players progress, new abilities are unlocked, accelerating extraction and allowing them to penetrate deeper.
The world responds to the players actions, gradually revealing its systemic interconnections. Base building becomes a logical continuation of expeditions. Mined materials are used to construct modular buildings, expand living areas, and open access to new biomes. Spatial planning influences the efficiency of processing and survival. The base gradually transforms into a functional control center for the underground world.
