About The Game

Battlestar Galactica Scattered Hopes puts the player in charge of a fleet of survivors escaping the destruction of the 12 Colonies. The primary objective is to navigate galactic landmarks and reunite with humanity's last hope. Onboard the ships, constant crises demand attention, from distributing meager supplies to managing the conflicting interests of different factions. The journey is complicated by the need to identify Cylon infiltrators hiding among the crew, creating an atmosphere of deep paranoia. The Cylon armada is constantly closing the distance, making every decision a decisive factor in the timing of the next confrontation in this game. Skirmishes in Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes are battles for survival against a numerically superior enemy.

Combat gameplay consists of high-risk tactical engagements that require defending a formation until the calculations for a faster-than-light jump are completed. The active pause mechanic allows for strategic deployment of squadrons and the use of weapons, including nuclear missiles, to deliver precision strikes on targets. Victories are not without losses: ships suffer serious damage, and squadrons are lost in battle. Such encounters force one to accept the inevitability of certain sacrifices in order to save the entire squadron. With each new attempt, elements are unlocked that improve the chances of success. Access to unique fleets, special units, and meta-improvements, coupled with procedural narrative, creates a unique gaming experience in every playthrough.
