Despite the institution's high status, the course fee is an astronomical $5,000,000, forcing the protagonist to seek alternative sources of income. The journey is complicated by the activities of an aggressive criminal gang and strange night visions revealing events from the distant past. Wizabeasts' gameplay emphasizes thoughtful leadership of a squad during tense tactical encounters.
