About The Game

It Reaches is a first-person horror game from Emberflight Games. In it, you play as Officer Jason Thompson, whose routine police operation devolves into a never-ending nightmare within an abandoned hospital and its underground facilities. All events unfold in hyper-video mode, creating a gritty documentary-style horror that captures every movement and every breath. You are hunted by a relentless creature that never stops pursuing you, forcing you to overcome both deadly environmental traps and terrifying creatures lurking in the shadows and walls.

The game features a unique breath-holding mechanic: when an enemy is nearby, you must manually control your breathing hold your breath too long, and you'll involuntarily gasp, revealing your location. Survival depends on finding clues to uncover the facility's dark secrets, while managing your scarce resources wisely and deciding when to hide and when to fight back. Environmental puzzles demand precision, as one misstep can trigger a trap or alert a pursuer. Combat is brutal and tactical, requiring precise aim and quick thinking when confrontation becomes inevitable.
