About The Game
101st Airborne in Normandy asks a simple question. Can you lead a scattered band of paratroopers to victory when every house hides a sniper and every hedgerow conceals a machine gun nest. This 2026 strategy action RTS RPG game from Interactive Simulations and Strategy First puts you in command of Easy Company. Your first task is to gather your men, who landed miles apart in the dark. The latest version adds a radio system where you must physically locate and repair field radios to coordinate with other units.
Action combat is intense and personal. You can take direct control of any soldier, aiming down iron sights to clear a farmhouse or tossing a grenade into a tank trap. RTS commands let you order suppressive fire, flanking maneuvers, and even retreats. RPG mechanics track each soldier’s name, hometown, and service record. If a soldier dies, they are gone forever, affecting morale and your final after‑action report. The game features a night vision filter for the chaotic first hours of the invasion, with limited visibility and friendly fire risks. You can also unlock historical side missions, like destroying a key bridge or rescuing a downed pilot. The art style blends photorealistic landscapes with period‑authentic uniforms.
