About The Game

Talisman Digital 5th Edition The Dead King asks a simple question. What happens when death itself sits on the throne. This 2024 adventure RPG strategy expansion from Nomad Games adds a new region to the outer board, the Cemetery of the Damned, where the Dead King raises fallen heroes as his servants. You can play as the Crypt Lord, a character who specializes in necromancy, turning defeated monsters into temporary allies. The latest version also introduces a new mechanic, Soul Harvest, where you collect souls from slain enemies to power dark rituals.

Strategy is key, as you must decide whether to avoid the Dead King’s zone until you are powerful enough, or risk an early encounter for high rewards. RPG progression includes new dark magic spells that can drain life or summon wraiths. Adventure exploration is tense, because every corner of the Mausoleum hides a trap or a wandering horror. The expansion also includes new alternative endings, where you can choose to replace the Dead King or destroy his throne forever.
