About The Game

BrokenLore FOLLOW asks a simple question. What if you were being hunted by something that exists only because enough people believe in it. This 2026 horror action adventure game from Serafini Productions and Soft Source puts you in the shoes of a skeptic who becomes a believer. The Follower is not a person, but a manifestation of fear itself, gaining strength the more you panic. The latest version of the game adds a calm mechanic where holding your breath and controlling your heartbeat can make The Follower lose your trail, but doing so drains your stamina.

Action is about resource management, you can use flares to create light, noise makers to distract, or mirrors to confuse The Follower’s line of sight. Horror is amplified by a sound design that uses binaural audio, making footsteps sound like they are right behind you. Adventure exploration takes you through a forgotten subway system, an abandoned hospital, and a derelict cinema, each location hiding pieces of the legend. You can also find cursed objects that grant temporary powers, such as seeing The Follower’s location through walls, but at the cost of attracting it faster.
