GRID 2019 is a new part of the well-known racing game, which is again ready to conquer you and send you to a dangerous, colorful world. Here you will find a lot of different cars, for every taste and color, which can be modified, which means that you can create the car of your dreams. As soon as the job is done, go to conquer multiple tracks, where only the strongest can win. In this part, we can see additional modes that will make your pastime even more interesting. The updates did not pass by the side of the schedule, which became many times better, and therefore you will become part of the most realistic world. Now before you opens a difficult racing arcade.

The gameplay has become even more dynamic, so you definitely will not be bored. The environment is as detailed as possible, and all cars are licensed, which will give you the opportunity to fully feel like a participant in this or that world test. GRID - Version 1.1 Patch Notes

The first full patch for GRID is now being finalised for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Included in the changes coming in this patch are a number of community-reported topics that the GRID have prioritised and acted on, to further improve your experience with the game.

Version 1.1 is expected to roll out from the beginning of the week commencing 28/10/2019 - keep on eye on the GRID social channels and the Codemasters Forums, where we’ll let you know when this process begins. In the meantime, we’ve compiled the patch notes for 1.1, which you can check out below.

This patch consists of visual improvements and fixes, including:

General
– Resolved multiple general text issues
– Fixed issue of screen cutting to black after selecting a vehicle from the relevant screen
– Volume of in-race commentary is now reduced at the startline
– Fixed several public PC crashes
– PC: cursors will now disappear when using a controller or wheel
– Fixed the ‘softlock’ state during the auto-save screen if players switch profile during Free Play

Multiplayer
– Quick Match: all players can now experience terminal damage in races
– Fixed issue in multiplayer for human players starting slower than AI drivers in Time Attack
– Private Match: fixed issue for informing a player that they are the new lobby host
– Fixed issue stopping more than 6 players being able to get into a Quick Match session
– Fixed issue where players can become desynced from each other
– Resolved issue of crashes when players quit out of Spectate after re-joining a session
– Fixed issues causing crashes when finishing a Multiplayer event

Gameplay

– Fixed issue of race not starting if rolling start is enabled and the player has entered into a Hot Lap Qualifying session beforehand
– Fixed the ‘out of world’ issue on the Okutama Sprint routes
– Flashback: cars will no longer veer left or right immediately after using a Flashback following a collision
– Fixed flickering during gameplay with ultra-settings and 4K display
– Fixed Flashback issue altering a player’s fastest lap time
– Fixed Accolades issue where you could only complete certain Milestones in a single race

Features
Added the ability to tune vehicle in the pause menu in Skirmish (Once in Skirmish mode: Pause > Vehicle Tuning > Tune to what you like > Apply)
Added the ability to remove scratches and dirt when changing liveries or changing vehicles
 
Once you have driven with a vehicle it will have built up scratches and dirt, changing your livery will automatically clean your vehicle, entering into the garage and finding the vehicle you were using will give you the option ‘Clean and Respray’ in the tooltips at the bottom of the screen, press the right trigger button and this will clean your vehicle. This can also be done in the vehicle select menu screen as well.
 
Note – The vehicle can only be cleaned if you own it
Added a stats screen (To access the stats screen: Main Menu > Player Profile > Edit Profile > Statistics)
 
This will give you stats for the following:
 
- Distance Driven
- Career Events Completed
- Total Drafting Time
- Cars Overtaken
- Distance on Racing Line
- Good Corners Taken
- Total Gear Shifts
- Total Air Time
- Distance Driven on Two Wheels
- Total Drift Distance

Below you will find update information for GRID dropping alongside the release of Season 3. Please ensure your game is updated in order to have access to these additions/changes.

GRID Ultimate Edition/Season 3 Players
  • Four Hypercars - Welcome the Ferrari FXX-K Evo, Koenigsegg Jesko, Koenigsegg Agera RS, and the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport.
  • 33 Career events - Two new threads (Invitational Favourites and Track Day) as well as a new Ravenwest Showdown
  • Nine new achievements/objectives - New objectives (tied to new achievements) can be found here: Player Profile > Objectives > All > Seasons
  • 14 liveries
  • Six livery patterns
  • Five player cards
  • Five player banners
All GRID players
  • Two bonus cars - Available to all GRID players, the Honda NSX-GT and NISSAN GT-R Racing Car (GT500 Spec)
  • Loan Car - The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport is available as a loan car for all GRID players in Multiplayer
  • Suzuka Circuit - Fly to Japan with this new circuit featuring three layouts and three reverse layouts - playable in all nine weather/time of day conditions
Quality Changes
  • Multiplayer/Freeplay currency rewards increase - Payouts for Freeplay, Private Lobbies, Public Lobbies, and Quickmatch have been substantially increased.
  • Various AI tweaks have been made on both cars and tracks. Players should notice that simulated AI times are more realistic
Bug Fixes
General
  • Fixed an issue where the total distance driven would sometimes reset to zero
  • Fixed an issue where terminal damage may reset split times, causing impossible lap times
  • Fixed an issue where players may not have been able to retire after terminal damage in Time Attack.
  • Various UI/text issues resolved
  • Various stability fixes
