The whole planet, the whole world, will be at your disposal, and you can choose any point on the world map for the starting countdown. You need to act only during the day, because at night the zombies will be especially active. At night, you should be busy only repelling the attacks of hordes of zombified. During the day, you can send groups on sorties, explore neighboring buildings and, if possible, even clear them and also attach them to your base. So, after a while you will be able to create a safe zone in which there will be more and more survivors every now and then. Naturally, you will have to deal with providing the survivors with everything necessary. Send groups in search of new zones, explore pharmacies and food stores, get resources and provisions. But keep in mind groups may not return in some cases, they can be destroyed. In Infection Free Zone, you will also have to make contacts with other survivors. Some will be ready to trade with you or join you, but others may want to fight with you and take away all the acquired goods. get ready for war between groups of survivors.
