About The Game

Aurora Defense combines roguelike deckbuilding with base-building tower defense gameplay. The player's task is to build defensive structures in the last stronghold of light, holding back the onslaught of advancing darkness. Guarding the last goddess is the main goal of the mission throughout the entire game. The tools for all actions are cards, allowing you to place new buildings, upgrade existing buildings and cast spells. Gamers build a personalized deck, which lays the foundation of their strategy against the attacking forces.

As night falls, the army of darkness initiates an attack on the fortifications. In the title Aurora Defense, all deployed units and defensive towers engage the enemy autonomously, creating an auto-battle phase. Success depends on the synergy created by unit combinations and the use of specific buff effects. This game offers several goddesses to choose from, each of which provides a unique starting relic and a different set. Evolving over time, these deities open access to additional upgrades for future attempts.

After successfully repelling each wave, the gamer receives rewards to expand their capabilities. Acquisitions can be new cards for the deck, powerful relics with passive effects, or encounters with random events that direct the gameplay in an unexpected direction. The project allows you to freely combine collected cards, relics, and building upgrades to create a more formidable line of defense. Confronting the advancing darkness and protecting the goddess are a constant challenge.
