About The Game

Dixotomia is a sci-fi virtual reality shooter whose plot confronts the protagonist with a difficult moral choice between preserving their humanity and embracing monstrous power. Confronting hordes of vampires, cultists, and other supernatural threats relies on a combination of advanced technology and newfound vampiric abilities. Survival is complicated by the constant threat of infection, forcing a constant struggle for one's own sanity. The combat system allows for the simultaneous use of a futuristic arsenal and metaphysical abilities, such as generating energy discharges directly from the forearm. Each encounter with an enemy is a test not only of reflexes but also of the ability to control the monster awakening within.

The events unfold on the recently colonized planet Karna, where Ron Adams arrives as a special forces operative. Dixotomia narrative adapts to the protagonist's actions, with every action shaping their future destiny and predetermining one of several possible endings. Exploring vast locations, from industrial complexes to research centers with occult influences, becomes key to understanding the events unfolding.
