About The Game
Total War PHARAOH DYNASTIES is a strategy game that expands on the original Total War: Pharaoh. This game immerses gamers in complex strategies set in the ancient world, offering an expanded campaign map and a host of new game mechanics and factions. The campaign map nearly doubles in size, including regions of the Aegean Sea, Mesopotamia, and Ancient Egypt. The expansion introduces 168 new settlements, numerous historical landmarks, and additional victory objectives, increasing the depth of strategic planning and conquest.
New sea routes are now available, enabling fast and efficient fleet movement, enabling long-range raids and invasions. The game introduces four new main factions: Babylon, the Assyrians of Hanigalbat, Mycenae, and Troy. Each brings unique characteristics and strategic opportunities. Babylon and the Assyrians of Hanigalbat occupy Mesopotamia, while Mycenae and Troy are located in the Aegean region.
Along with these core factions, you can lead 25 minor factions during the turbulent Bronze Age Collapse, each contributing to the dynamic historical landscape. A new feature is the Dynasty system, allowing you to build and manage your family lineage. It includes managing succession issues, strategic marriages, battlefield heroism, assassinations, and the natural aging process. Successfully managing your Dynasty will ensure a lasting legacy across generations. Over 150 new and redesigned units have been added, including cavalry, camel riders, and specialized faction units like the Trojan Guard.
