Maliki Poison Of The Past begins a journey in which gamers must confront the Poison, a plant entity that has infiltrated space-time. Humanity is on the brink of extinction in the near future, subject to the influence of this entity in different eras. A small group of time survivors, led by Maliki, operate from the Domain, a haven outside the standard course of events. Users take on the role of Sand, who is tasked with navigating different periods in order to restore the damaged reality. Gameplay in Malik Poison Of The Past focuses on exploring eras affected by temporal colonization and tactical turn-based skirmishes. The character uses the Chrono-pack to manipulate the timeline and fights together with companions Becky, Feng, and Fenimal against the creatures that infest the worlds of the past.

The combat mechanics include a time adjustment tool that allows you to adjust the sequence of turns, allowing for coordinated strikes with allies or shifting opponents along the timeline. The project combines RPG elements, navigational tasks, and chrono-puzzles with tactical combat. Between expeditions into altered timelines, the Domain serves as a central hub for preparation and development. Here, you can cultivate resources, prepare food, improve equipment, and care for the Thousand-Root Tree, which protects the haven from external threats. These activities contribute to the fight against the Poison, providing Sand with needed supplies and better equipment.
