About The Game

One of the best strategy games, Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition — takes place between the 15th and 19th centuries, during the colonization of the American continents. The game consists of three campaigns about the origins of the Black Dynasty. Plot tasks invite the gamer to take part in various events, one way or another related to the representatives of the family mentioned above. You will fight bandits, fight opponents and villains, look for distant relatives, drive out competitors in the railway business.

Now brave deeds, building and improving the base lead to the receipt of so-called experience points. Due to the latter, it is far from the upgrade of units that the pumping of your central city, called Home City, occurs. Thanks to the developed main city, your troops can receive supplies right on the battlefield. On the tactical side, the third game in the Age of Empires series dropped noticeably. Now you can defeat the enemy by simply accumulating more military power than he has. In other words, the aspect of strategic planning in this game has receded into the background.

In terms of general changes, Age of Empires III is much more beautiful. Balanced civilizations from the previous part migrated to the third, which allowed the developer to concentrate on the visual component. At the time of its release, this game was considered one of the most detailed and beautiful strategies. In gameplay terms, the revolution did not happen, with the exception of the emergence of some new races.
