About The Game

Underling Uprising is a fast-paced beat-em-up centered around a group of people subjected to inhumane laboratory experiments. The heroes seek revenge against the maniacal and insane Dr. Baldrick. Their group, called the Underlings, travels the world, battling the abominations and demons created by the deranged doctor. Underling Uprising's gameplay is an old-school side-scrolling action game. The adventure's visuals are inspired by the cartoon Saturday Morning. The game features a huge variety of levels and locations. As the protagonists progress, they encounter a variety of charismatic characters.

In addition to regular enemies, they will face powerful bosses genetic mutants possessing incredible powers. The mechanics draw inspiration from classic fighting games. Several attack types are available, as well as grappling, interaction with the environment, and special attacks. At the beginning of the adventure, you can choose from four unique characters. The story campaign can be played solo or locally with up to four players, each controlling a different hero. A versus mode is also available. The game's difficulty level can be selected in a dedicated menu. The game offers multiple endings, depending on the decisions made during the gameplay. Dynamic 80s synthwave music plays during battles, emphasizing the game's old-school atmosphere.
