About The Game

Gord is a colony simulator with adventure and survival elements. Its setting mixes dark fantasy and Slavic folklore. The action takes place in a gloomy world where there are giant spiders, people-eating trees and other monsters. Information about these lands is stored in the Chronicle, whose pages have been torn out and scattered everywhere. To understand lore, you need to collect them. And the main plot tells about the life of the Dawn tribe. Instead of one campaign, the title contains many scenarios of varying complexity. It is possible to create your own game and personally customize the starting group of people, weather, map size, initial resources, enemy types, raid intensity, environment and goals. You can also start a session with random parameters.

In Gord, you need to rebuild and defend the camp, gradually expanding your possessions. The settlement is often threatened by monsters, hostile tribes and mysterious forest forces. In the game, you need to monitor the health, burden and sanity of your wards. Any incidents affect their condition. If a villager panics, they will refuse to follow orders. You can turn to the gods for help. Prayers allow you to gain their favor and acquire spells. Magic is divided into offensive and defensive. You can also complete the main and side quests. Secondary quests are randomly generated. There are also random events. In addition, here you can explore the surroundings outside the town. At such times, the player takes control of one character and wanders around in a third-person perspective.
