Skull and Bones is a pirate simulator with the ability to freely explore available territories to find adventures and battles. The project, which has support for controllers, only has a multiplayer version of the game, which requires a constant and stable Internet connection. The time period chosen was the golden age for pirates, when most ships could not defend themselves properly. The scene of action is the waters of the Indian Ocean and a huge number of ports adjacent to them. Each gamer gets the opportunity to become the captain of a frigate and customize it at their own discretion. Through numerous battles with enemies controlled by artificial intelligence, or against other players, the user accumulates valuable resources, including gold, which is used to improve the ship or to buy a new one.

They come in different types and differ from each other by a whole list of characteristics. The ship needs to be selected to suit your own gameplay style. Everyone who enters the game gets the opportunity to join a guild to share benefits or complete the most difficult tasks with the rarest and most valuable drops. Due to the changeable weather, it is necessary to be constantly on alert, as a storm can cause serious damage to the ship. This will make moving significantly more difficult, and repairs will require returning to port.
