Red Dead Redemption Remastered Edition will take the user to the early 20th century in the American Wild West. John Marston is a hero who is trying to break away from his dark past as a robber and a thug, but his plans are disrupted by government agents. The services threaten to kill John’s relatives if he does not fulfill their instructions — to find and hand over former accomplices or kill them. The protagonist in the action game will have a long journey in the open world across half the country, which the guy can go on foot or on horseback. Marston goes by train to a provincial town in the South of America, New Austin, to start a new life.

The guy must catch his former accomplices. In the town, John meets some characters with whom he will have to conduct dialogues and take tasks from them. Non-player characters have individual features, have their own ideas about good and evil and watch their words so as not to get a bullet in the forehead. Here the gamer can use horses to move between settlements and pursue enemies. Animals behave realistically, and a long gallop can exhaust a horse. You can shoot at an enemy on horseback using the quick aim function. The hero earns a reputation, where helping good people he gets moral points, and bad people — loses them.

The user himself chooses which path to take, but here you need to remember the results of each decision — choosing the position of the bad guy, you can run into the indignation of local residents and persecution by the authorities. The plot is conventionally divided into 3 acts, during which the player will have to complete hundreds of side tasks. Completing tasks affects the morale and financial situation of the protagonist. There are a lot of options to earn money, for example, get a job as a security guard at an important facility. For money, you can buy new equipment and guns, as well as explosives, knives, lasso. In the process, the user goes through mini-games, including poker, blackjack, arm wrestling. The western supports multiplayer with team battles and Free Roam mode — this is a free journey, where 16 gamers find themselves on one map and decide for themselves what to do — group up, kill opponents, complete tasks together.
