About The Game

Look Mum No Computer is a twin-stick shooter set in the Soldersworth universe. Players take on the role of Sam, working with his synth companion Cosmo to combat out-of-control machines. The mission requires players to infiltrate these machines to repair them and confront the chaos directly. The journey involves completing quests from the inhabitants of the machine worlds and fighting large-scale bosses.

The combat system pits the character against swarms of enemies, including acid-spitting capacitors and undead broccoli, to restore the machines to working order. Look Mum No Computer's gameplay centers around an interactive music and crafting system. Players must craft and upgrade synth modules that function as weapons in the game. These elements also generate instruments for the evolving soundtrack, directly tying the combat to the musical accompaniment.

To craft these devices, you need to collect electronic components scattered throughout the levels. One of the items available for crafting is a flamethrower module, inspired by the design of a real flamethrower organ. Moving around the interior landscapes of the devices is done using twin-stick controls to fight numerous enemies. Success requires balancing equipment slots and managing the energy resource that powers both weapon modules and the music component. The character is teleported to various locations inside the structures, populated by unique creatures and challenges.
